Ivan, you could always have a short questionnaire during the registration process that asks how many people are interested in going out fri/sat night.

It probably should ask:

Color car
Passenger (yes/no)
T Shirt size(s)
Drive preference (long/med/short)
Alignment/Tech activities interested in
Hotel?
Fri/Sat night and Sun morning activity interest

If you would like, I could demonstrate how the tranny jack works and where to jack your tranny from.

William is right. About 20-30 for Fri Hooters, about 50 or so for big dinner after the meet. The brunch on sunday was about 20 people. When you get t-shirts you need to account for all the people at the dealership that will want one too (and those are comp'd of course). Website signup with database access and paypal is what I used to keep track of people and payments.

Key things - get location first, and then establish sponsors ASAP and stay on top sponsors for support to make sure they will show up or at least give you the prizes. We let off last year and had some fall out, which disappointed people. Then the evening events can be worked out based on location. Also consider places for out-o-towners to stay that may be near the meet location.

Last thing - the less complicated the better with a group this size - 3 separate drives may be a bit too hard to coordinate and keep people safe. You also don't want a highly technical drive since there will be a lot of cars to keep track of. You don't want people going off the road, which dramatically increases your liability as organizers.

truly, i don't get the idea of having a lift there....now if it was like a comparison with lets say a CR and a normal s2k and ppl wanted to see it, then they can have them set up even before we get there. But having a lift so ppl can see under their own cars can get timely

as for the drive, we can do two things, either drive to our preferred distances(short, medium, long) and go to different places, or drive different routes to the same place and different routes back. We can even have lunch at the place we decide to go to, and then drive back to town. I.E. We meet at the dealership, have breakfast, converse, etc., and then get in our groups and drive our routes. Meet up at another place, eat lunch, converse some more, and then drive back. That will still give us some time to either go back to the dealership, or get ready for some other activity at night (carting, etc.)

Can we plz have strippers at the dealership pole dancing on the empty lifts? That would draw in a lot of business for them.
