do you think lake roosevelt will let us hold the bbq there?.....that way, it'll be a drive to the bbq, and a drive back. Ppl won't be as hungry and tired as driving the whole way there and back for the bbq.

Plus they do have big parking spots

Ill be working for Miller pretty soon again and they have a pretty big lot. There also right next to castle botique! No lifts though. We do all our work on creepers. I haven't lived here for long so I don't have any other suggestions other then my house with the good ole sony and tranny jack crew!

 

the only "problem" with ur house is that the sony will distract ppl from doin the drive.....and will make them when they go home to their regular tvs after seeing the true quality imaging of the good ole sony jk

I work for ScienceofSpeed! So i dont see why we wouldnt sponsor some part of the event. The only issue is there is not enough room at SOS for more than 20-30 cars. I will get Chris to sponsor in some way so dont worry about that. We will sponsor some raffle items im sure of(gift certificates and parts) and maybe help in other ways but there needs to be some type of structure so i can present it to him and we will go from there. Let me know and ill see what i can do.


Also my buddy owns a T-shirt and sticker printing shop so let me know and ill see what he can do for the price of T-shirts. Im sure white T's with maybe 5-6 colors, ill call him and get a quote.

 

Now that it's the new year (OK, still 1 day away, but...) we should put the planning of this event into Vtec. We can meet at my place in the NW valley or ?? and start assigning actions with leaders to ensure we don't miss anything. What about Jan 12 or 13? Sounds like we have a lot of stuff already done, we just need to pull it all together!

We need leaders/teams for:
- T-shirts
- Sponsors
- Meeting places
- Drive details: maps, times, color groups and stagger start?, etc
- Food/drinks/etc
- Invitation/signup sheet development
- Hotel accomodations for outa-staters
- Restaurant reservations for Fri/Sat nights and Sun morning brunch?
- DJ/music
- Raffle and raffle prizes
- etc, etc, etc

 

all the drive stuff i am getting done. all the details about it. I should hear back from superstition springs about the meeting there thing this week
