I wanted to wait and post specific details once I received a decision back from Honda of Superstition Springs, but with only a month to go I figured I'd status everyone...
I've spoken to Chris at the dealership 4 times in the past 2 weeks. He's spoken to his manager who thinks it's a great idea. They then both pitched it to the GM. We'll know by Fri if they're in or not.
In the meantime....
I re-read this thread and the following people had expressed interest in helping out. Once we hear from Honda I'll start emailing/calling everyone to kick things off. They will also let us know what they are willing to sponsor and then we can set the ticket prices accordingly.
Skibum - T-shirts from Polizei Clothing
Skibum - Possible raffle items (Vivid Racing)
WLAURENT - Possible raffle items (clear bra & head light protection kits)
Boofster - Possible raffle items (Dyno from UMS)
Boofster - Manage registration (emails and $)
Boofster - T-shirt graphic design?
CBR2200 - DJ (from Vegas)
Back-cracker - Possible raffle items
jefferyg32 - Possible raffle items (from S.O.S.)
jefferyg32 - T-shirts
9KRDLIN & dat boi - Saturday drive details & maps, etc.
Sundog - Will get waiver forms and insurance
Sundog - Will coordinate Saturday BBQ and agenda (of course we have an agenda!)
There's more stuff that people can pitch in to help with, but these were what I found in the thread. For example, we'll need a restaurant for the Friday night "Meet & Greet" and Sunday's "Bye-Bye" brunch close to the dealership of course and hotel nearby. Don't worry I have a list that I will post and get volunteers. Don't forget, you can always PM/email me if you have specific questions.

We could cruise out to the Pavillions after the event of Saturday and park in the lot across to the west. Dinner at YC's or 5&Diner. I'm sure everyone will enjoy the show.
Friday meet could be at a boba place. Maybe Lollicup Tempe because there's more parking there. For food we could hit PPP, Pita Jungle, or some asian joint over in that area.
I will see what DJ's are at the clubs for that weekend. May have a contact to DJ for us. Let me know if I need to follow that up.
Sunday: I have no idea

OK! The great folks over at Honda of Superstition Springs have agreed to host & sponsor our 2008 "Fun in the Sun" event! I will begin PM'ing the folks who have volunteered to get things rolling and let you know what the Dealer has offered. Suffice to say they are being a wonderful partner!
The date is set: April 4 - 6
Boofster - I drafted an agenda for the event, we will review it with the planning team and then you can develop it and distribute.
For the folks who volunteered to arrange raffle items....hop to it and talk to your people, then PM me the details of what is being donated. We need solid commitments from each sponsor, either they provide the details and we print up little cards to hand out at the event, or they provide the actual raffle items so we can bring them to event. Another option would be for the sponsor to have a table at the event where they can showcase their wares. If a sponsor chooses this route please let me know ASAP so I can arrange with the dealership.
For Friday night's "Meet & Greet" - Everyone write up your favorites of the SE valley and then I will contact 3 or 4 members of the initial planning team and we'll make a decision based on your suggestions. I found the following very close to the dealership. If you have visited 1 or more of these places, tell us about it, if no one has visited I will swing by each next week.
