Default Got a new hooptie.

Well, Bobby and Wil convinced me to go with the STi over the EVO. It is silver and the only adds it came with were the auto-dimming mirror, wheel locks and a center console extension. After what happened with the S, I don't think that I will be going mod crazy. The car has a lot of torque. I haven't went over 5K rpms, but will once I get a few more miles on her. You guys complain about the S02's, well, these tires have a tread wear of 150. The "fun factor" is not the same as the S but I am not sure about the driving characteristics since I can't rail on it till the motor is broken in. The dam car didn't even come with a stereo or floor mats. I am told that it has all the harnesses there, so I will throw in the radio (Clayton, I can use your help) I had in the S along with the speakers. The only mods for sure will be a drop in panel filter and a reflash of the ECU once it's available at DynoComp, along with a 3 inch turbo back exhaust. Looking at getting the clear bra done asap and the windows tinted in a week or two. I am glad you guys and gals still consider me part of the family. I have grown fond of the club and the members. You all are great. See everyone at the next GTG. I will post pics this weekend after I clean her up a bit.

cool, congrats. I would have gone with the evo just because I hear it handles better, but then again I haven't driven or even been inside either of them. Does it have gold rims?

So is the s2000 and all it's parts gone? If so how much did you get for the s2000 if you don't mind me asking?

No I made sure that he didn't get the gold rims. The both STI and Evo are nice cars. We pushed Johnny tward the STI because we beleive that Subaru has a better quality of cars and the STI has cruise control. The only major drawback I see w/ the STI is the lack of a stereo (easily solved) & moonroof (not easily solved). We all agreed that the Evo has better seats. But you can always get s pair of Brides to solve that problem! Congrats Johnny, toss me them keys once she's al broken in.

Good choice in car. I posted to you on the nasioc forum, but you didn't post back to me again. Congrats anyway.
