Installed my GROM-iPhone interface!
I got my birthday present early!! Not wanting to wait I installed it last night and WOW the audio is very good. Like the fact you can control the iPhone from the dash controls and it also charges. I was glad to have this site though...Made the install go quick...total time maybe 45mins...

I did a quick search for GROM and iPhone and did not find anything on this site. Could you give me some more info on this product. I have an iPhone and would love to be able to connect it. Thanks!

Being another iPhone user, I'm really interested in how well this works for you.
Also, is this the unit you have?

We have the USA Spec adaptors in stock that work for all years. This also works with the new 3G as well as the prior version iPhone.

Sorry guys been taking finals!!
GROM Item # HON1l2 its way cool!!! I put the radio on XM and plug in my iPhone, you can change songs by hitting the CH button on the dash. I really like it, and the sound is really really good. I would say anyone who has had the radio out before or has an AP1 could probably do it in 30mins or less but I had never done it so took my time. Now I know I saw an iPhone mount someone made around here somewhere... it screwed into the dash. It used existing screws behind the dash panel under the bezel, next to the vent on the drivers right side. I just have to try and find it again.....
OH you could mount this in the trunk...but you would need a coupler adapter... I think..... would have been a lot easer..but didn't have one... and didn't want to wait... LOL
Plus I was not sure about how to get the cable back to the front of the car.....with the limited cable length I had....
You just can't beat 86 bucks!!! I did look at the USA spec...but I didn't see anything that justified the additional cost...at least for me..
