Ok guys, i got my car, and let me tell you, that car is AWESOME!! i love it more and more everytime i get in it. I drove from springfield illinois friday morning to new mexico, took 17 hours.. slept at midnight, woke up at 6 and drove back home.. arrived in phx at around 2. the drive from flagstaff is fun, going 90 back, the handling is great! The car had a weird long antenna on it, but i got the normal antenna today. =) the car is in perfect condition besides the stupid windshield that got cracked, a suburban popped up a rock 5 MILES AWAY FROM THE LOOP 101, and cracked it.. very disappointing, but shit happens.. so let me just tell you some pros and cons about this car i noticed from the 24 hour drive.. you guys obviously know, but just wanted to say whats on my mind about this awesome car..
Pros- Handles awesome and makes the long drive not so unbearable.
- the top down feels so good
- the seats hug me perfectly =)
- the sound of the engine just gets better and better
- the hid's are awesome, very bright and i could see very easily on the drive

Cons- With the top up, really BAD blind spot on the left
- couldnt recline the seat back of course cuz its two seater, but i wish i could of when it was my dads turn to drive so i could take a more comfortable nap

Congrats on the new purchase. I feel your pain about the windshield, I got a cut on my sidewall on the drive to biosphere and had to turn around and limp home, of course it was my rear to make matters worse.

 

MUZ convex left mirror should be your FIRST MOD!!!

 

whats that?? how much it cost?? cuz that blind spot is bugging me, thas why ive been driving top down past two days, its really cold at night! =( oh well looks best with top down though!

i just fix the problem by leaning forward and looking in my side mirrors before i make a lane change. doing so lets you see that nasty blind spot.

I got the MUZ mirror earlier this summer and it definitely improves the blind spot. Then, I would say get the supercharger.

 

well im getting used to the blind spot now.. i just pay more attention to cars behind me and side of me. at first it bothered me because i would have to lean forward, but im used to it now. i love driving with the top down, i can see everything perfect. =) i dont think ill ever get another car thats not a convertable, it feels so good, esp. the afternoon weather.. i love it.. =) i dunno about the supercharger, if i had the money i would.. im broke cuz of this car, i dont even know how i afforded putting 2500 into the rsx, i wish i had taht money to mod this car.. but i guess its gonna hafta wait.. besides the s2000 is a REAL NICE looking car even stock. i just cant seem to get enough of this car, every time i go in the garage and see taht car with the top down, makes me wanna go drive! =) and in the morning, im actually not so tired anymore becuase i get to spend some quality time with my new baby! =)
