Angry MTF

I put in Honda's new MTF in my tranny and I don't like the way it feels... or sounds.
I used to run with GMSMFM and loved it. Great shifting. Now that I've gone with Honda's MTF in the tranny, the shifting is "notchy" and the transmission seems louder in neutral.
For those of you riding in a 2004 or newer, what have you found to be the best performing MTF? I'd like to go back to GMSMFM, but some say that it is too thin.
Word?

I've always used the Redline MTF.

Unhappy

I have to say that by far the worst MTF that I've ever experienced in my tranny has been the Honda's new MTF formula. I have to wait a good second between clutch engage and shift. And even with the pause, I still feel "notchiness". GMSMFM felt great.
Does Red Line get rid of the "notchiness" and allow smoother shifts?

I ran the GMSM a long time ago. It felt great, but the feeling didn't last long enough. I started using the Redline MTF right after that to help with the 2nd gear grind that I had since the car was new . The Redline helped and I've used it for about 5-6 years now.

... well I have to say the same about the new Honda MTF... It seems to get better. However, it seems like I don't get smoother shifts over-all.
Does anyone know if that I put in GMSMFM in my tranny that if will hurt it?
By far, the best MTF that I've ever experienced in my transmission was GMSMFM. Great shifting all around.

I haven't changed the MTF in my car yet, but when I had my 3000GT I used Redline MTF and it was by far the best I had used. I'm thinking about trying Redline in my S2K now because I've been having issues shifting into 2nd gear lately.

I just changed to the new honda MTF and am not liking it. the older stuff in there (old formula with almost 10k on it) shifted smoother. not liking the new formula at all. I may use motul since we are a dealer at work. I want to change it before and damage happens from the crappy shifts this thing gives me...

I tried the Amsoil stuff and it was ok.

Then I went to the new honda MTF (white cap) and I like it. Then I kissed a girl and I liked it too. OMG!
