Started to notice a "clicking" yesterday on the way home from work and it is starting to concern me. I made a short video sorry about the quality. Seems to happen around 1500 to 2000 rpm and then stop. Also the car doesn't feel the like vtec is engaging don't know if that would be related. you can hear the noise around 21 sec in and continues through the end. Initially thought it was tranny or an exhaust leak. Used a stethoscope seems to coming from the cylinder head area. My father thinks it may be valve related. Help is appreciated greatly

First thought is timing chain tensioner.

x3 TCT. Common problem. plenty of places to take it.

 

x4 sounds like it to me too. Its pricey but not that expensive. You should be able to do it yourself theres writeups online.

 

thats what happened with mine, replaced it and never heard it again. It only happened once and awhile and mostly on cold starts. It's easily fixed and about a 15min uninstall and install
