power gains
Less than 10 HP.
Biggest gain would probably be from the weight loss on getting rid of the stock exhaust. Stock exhaust weighs 50-55 lbs, while the heaviest single is ~20 lbs. and the lightest titanium single is ~12 lbs. Save your money for a supercharger if you really want to add power.

And you really have to research the ones that give power gains. Some of the aftermarket pieces claim power gains, but in actuality reduce maximum horsepower.
Look for those aftermarket pieces that have been tested by someone on the site, preferably with a before and after dyno run.

The problem with gears is the labor cost involved in installing them properly. If you are to go with gears, I would swap out the LSD at the same time, go with a 2 way since you like to drift.
But as far as power, you have a couple of choices. The New England guys have been able to get some decent gains with the Greddy Emanage Ultimate.
Otherwise simple I/H/E won't yield anything major.

i was also thinking about going with a supercharger but the thing is i have never really delt with force induction on a honda when it comes to emission. I know with my silvia all i have to do is retard the timing throw a cat on and i will pass easy... how hard is it to pass emission with a supercharger or a turbocharger? I'm not looking for anything crazy either just about 40-50whp if i do boost..

The Comptech and Vortech kits are both Emissions Approved, so you should have absolutely no problems passing with either kit. The Comptech is tuned less aggressively then the Vortech so it's the safer bet. Unfortunately it doesn't come with an aftercooler which would be handy in the hot temps out here. The Comptech will net you closer to 80whp and Vortech usually nearer to 100whp. That's based on the dynos people have posted over the years.
