Question?
Do you have any idea what it costs to boost a M3??? If you buy a kit its about $10k.
Honestly, just go get a Cayman S and enjoy that for a year or two. Or just pick up an older 996 for cheap, drive it, then move to the 997 RS.

Seems most E46 and E92 M3 owners think they are upgrading. In comfort, power, and maybe image yes, but for driving feel and fun no. I loved E46 M3's until my friend bought one and I drove it a few times. No way could i sell the CR for that. Just no comparison. I rank driving feel higher than all else! I always say I want a E92 M3 next, but I keep seeing posts in Socal of people that sold the S for a BMW, and are now selling the BMW to get back in the S. Moral of the story...keep the S2000 and buy an second vehicle. So for you, go buy another CR or non CR for mid to upper 20's, then go buy a 335i coupe. There really is no car out there that does it all.
AS someone else mentioned, you need to rank your criteria and list your requirements. If you do that, the answer will probably present it self.
Get a nice daily driver and a track whore.
If I was to do it all over again I would have an Ariel Atom and a Acura RL
BTW...

of course it cost a lot to boost a M3. The dude has 45K... . Probably has a enough to take care of a boosted M3.
If he's goin with monthly payments on something new, in all honesty I think The Cayman R (not S) takes the cake if he can honestly afford a $800 car payment. That would actually be my first pick for a do it all ride for sunny arizona. For a rainy state, used 911 4S.
Paid for Track car + a nice DD is always the best way to go if you love speed.
