Default Question on creeks

I noticed that my soft top is making creaking noise on the driver side. When it is up and the latches are locked down.

I tried some WD40 on certian joints but still made the noise.

Then I tried Liquid Wrench and it worked for about 5 days then the creaking has returned. I sprayed more Liquid wrench and the noise is gone again.

Is there some type of better silicone spray that will keep the creaking gone for a lot longer ?

I tried Shin-itsu grease on the rubber seals but its definitely the metal frame that makes the creaking noise.

Thanks,

White lithium grease is what you should use for just about all the joints. There are some TSB's here on S2KI that show you what to do.

If you are coming out tonight, I can bring my Shin-Etsu grease and get you all lubed up.

I have Shin-Etsu and already tried it but thanks for the offer. I will try the instructions from the other link regarding the TSB and let you know if I still need help.
