Wherever you go, stay away from TrimFit.

I went to tempe honda and they were damned nice about the whole thing. They rushed me in as my warrantee was about to expire, bought me a new roof, re-tinted my window for free, and they said they had a service notice about the frame causing damage tot he roof. So they modified the frame, grinded it down, and re-painted it. Then replaced most of the trim as i had a small leak, replaced all the little sticker do-hickys too. Way over the top, was expecting to be hassled haha

sounds great. inspect your trunk after you wash your car. make sure there is no leaks or puddles. I know watchdog got that surprise.

I am going to find out who nelsmar's svc advisor was and go see them.
San Tan didn't seem to have a clue about it when I went there this morning.
They just looked it over and the svc mgr took a pic of the damage with his iphone for the Honda rep to see.
The shop they use for upholstery I never heard of but it was not TrimFit or Verdone...

I have NO leaks, only washed the car a few times very very pleased. Though one piece of trim is about 1-2mm off and is only seen in my driver side mirror, driving me crazzyyyyy lol. But i told honda this and that it was part of the reason i was coming in, so they washed the car a few times to check for leaks everywhere, they really went over the top IMO. I have never had service like that. Thanks for the pointer though about the trunk.

Tempe did send my car off to another shop for the actual install but i took pic's before dropping off the car and there wasn't a smudge anywhere when i got it back. (i always end up with a nick EVERY SINGLE TIME i drop a car off lol, im so afraid now)

for those of you wondering who was my service advisor it was (exactly what his card said):

Shane Hackelton
(480)-421-4892
shackelton@penskeautomotive.com

Tempe Honda
8030 S. Autoplex Loop
Tempe, AZ 852184-1007
(480)-421-4850
Fax: (480)-421-4855
www.tempehonda.com

Really friendly guy, the floor manager was also really knowledged on S2000's. Shane brought him out so he could talk to me. I was honest and told them my warrantee was running out soon and i had a few "minor" concerns such as my transmission (somewhat clicky when cold). The manager him self took it out and gave me a report, told me things about my car i didn't even know haha.

Shane is my advisor as well and has been for nearly the 3 1/2 years that I have owned this car. He and just about everyone in that place probably knows me given all the times I have had the car in for service or repairs.

And after Trim fit kept failing, the Manager let me take the car to any shop I wanted and gave me a full credit after the work was complete.

Those guys have been very good to me so far and I suspect will be the same for you.

Oh yea I hope tempe didn't send it to trim fit. If they did well I hope you have better luck than I did.

Ok get this...Called Shane at Tempe Honda and he said they only use is Trim Fit...
Weird because when I called The Upholstery Shop and Top "Formerly Verdone" Todd specifically said Tempe Honda.

So I called Showcase Honda and they say they do it in house in one day, they have done about 10 of them, and have the parts in stock!

Guess I am going to Showcase....
Wish me luck guys
