Default scratching/screeching noise

Started happening the other day. It's a scratching screeching noise comin from the right side of the car. Sometimes it goes away for a while and it's slightly more noticeable while taking left hand turns. I took the front passenger wheel off and visually inspected it for anything loose or rubbing on the wheels or brake disks, but i didn't see anything abnormal. Any suggestions?

I'm not one to procrastinate on fixing car issues but I've been mecca crazy busy with work, school, moving, and a nasty hooker addiction, that I haven't had time to have anyone look at it.

Thanks

Well, the noise actually stops sometimes under braking. Pads looked like they had plenty of wear left too.

Check for rocks between the brake dust shield and rotor.
