Default Ticket Help

Hey guys I was making a road trip from Houston to Los Angeles. I drove by Arizona and got snapped a few times by the automated traffic enforcement. Anyways, I got a letter in the mail (I'll probably get a few more cause I was speeding on the way back) for a traffic violation notice. I was wondering do these violations count against your insurance and how much are the fines. . I think I will be receiving 3 total violation notice. Honestly I was driving at night and didn't know anything about Arizona laws. We don't have speeding camera on I-10 in Houston so I wasn't aware. And do I have to show up to court and crap like that cause I do not wanna deal with that crap either.

There have been a few of these pop up lately...

Especially being out of state, i would just throw them away. Do not log onto the site they sent you, just throw them away like you never got them.

They are not a traffic/criminal ticket, they are civil. They will not go on your driving record and will not affect your insurance.

Just throw them away, DPS and Redflex have been very disappointed that they have no way of forcing people that live out of state to pay these tickets. They still mail them hoping you will just forfeit your money. The letters will threaten all kinds of things but its all BS. Even if you do decide to pay them they don't show up as points against you.

what if I logged online to check the fine amount, does that mean I gave up my right to be served by a process server ?

nah i dont think so..

What information did you need to log in? your plate number and ticket number? Was anything else needed NOT ON THE TICKET to access the citation?

If not, then I could pick up your ticket on the ground or at my address (if it got missent) and access your ticket.

Either way, i dont think they have any way of enforcing it...I wouldnt sweat it.

Throw them away. Only way they can stick it to you is if you get served.

End of story.
