Default Tranny Issues...

Im having 1st to 2nd gear tranny issues... 04 with 60k no mods... got the car in sep. 08 and the problem started about a month ago.. 1st gear is really tough to get into, warm or cold... sometimes it will even pop out of 1st.. and yes i have 1st gear all the way in.. when shifting to 2nd, I'll pull the shifter all the way down and hold it down to 2nd gear release the clutch and most of the time (80-90%) i will get a nasty grind or will not go into gear at all... I've done some research and there is a TSB for this problem... I do have extended warrenty so I am going to take it in to get checked, what honda dealership or where should I take my car to get looked at? A good reputible dealership that wont give me the run around and try not to fix this issue under warrenty... Thanks in advance! Car was fun to drive, now its getting a bit frustrating...

edit: here is the link to the TSB reports,

I'd first replace the fluid and make sure you have the correct type in the tranny. If this doesn't fix the problem my little bro has had good experiences with Honda Cars of Tempe off of Mcclintock south of the 202. I haven't had any issues with my S2K but I do believe they do warranty work.

No doubt Earnhardt Honda. Cesar serviced my transmission and virtually replaced everything in it (under warranty). It has worked flawlessly ever since. While your there get a new flywheel, clutch disk, pressure plate and throwout bearing. You'll have to pay ~$400 for the parts, but the labor is negiligible.

Get an AP1 or aftermarket flywheel if you do get one.
