I used the above with a Harbor Freight laser heat gun on my fenders. The main tabs to bend up are the top 2. The others maybe need a slight bend. I sort of went overboard on mine. The fender liner needs trimmed/cut out a bit around the top two tabs. Fender liners are replaceable. Ripping out a fender liner and permenantly denting the fender is a little more permanent.

I think before you really decide what wheels you order, you should probably make up your mind if you will be getting a BBK and which one. Not many wheels in fender friendly offsets clear BBKs. This might narrow your choices.

I have a fender roller you could use if you needed it. be VERY careful with the fronts if you are pulling them, you can create a crease in them if you're not careful.
