Are you 100% sure that it was due to the glass claim?

Normally comprehensive claim's, especially under "glass coverage" if you have it should not jack up your rates.

Is it possible that it's a normal rate increase?

Well between me and the S2000 getting a year older and the $650 for glass they paid nothing else has changed...
Realistically, I don't see how a "routine increase" can justify a $174 wack!

I plan on calling them and giving them a chance to save my business before I go with another company but I already got another quote for under $600 with another company.

I've heard that Costco insurance is "Thumbs up" insurance.

That is who I originally had "Ameriprise" when I got my AP2 but they hiked my premium for no reason and forced you to have Zero Glass coverage so I switched to Progressive. Scrapped the Zero Glass coverage with Progressive and pocketed $200+ Bucks for a 6 month policy.

I prefer to buy my own glass instead of just paying another $200+ in premium every 6 months and racking up comprehensive claims.

I'm glad this came back up, I really need to get mine replaced. I'll probably try the PPG.
