Default Ebay question...

Hey guys, selling my subwoofer on ebay. Will be selling the box later after I see how ebay works. One question. How do I set a buy it now price? And, after my 3 day bid period expires what happens. They drop my item? Plus, would anyone like to purchase it local.

I've never set a buy it now price. The best way to protect yourself is to set a realistic reserve price. If you don't have any feedback you prob. won't get as high of a bid as you would if you have lots of positive feedback. I'm sure there is prob a tab to check for the buy it now price when you list it. I would never do a 3 day auction. I always do 7 days and make it go off auction on a Sunday eve around 8 our time to get max hits.

So what happens at the end of the auction period? Do they remove the item?

Yea they remove it. You can relist it I think for free if it doesn't sell. Some items get bid up higher than you would think, and others languish.

What Keith said. But, whats up with the pic of the screws?

If it does not sell, I could always list it on my account as I have more feedback. Andy has even more than me

No, once the reserve price is met, then the buy it now dissapears.

Correct. Ebay can be very hit and miss. You have to know the demand for what your selling.. Do the research before listing a product really helps your sale and how to price your item.
