Default I'VE GOT THE BUG!

ok, so i haven't done much to my car in recent months other than the gladman cooling plate, gladman diffuser, raised up my coils to clear my ce28's, install a new, non-cracked oil pan, and that's it. i feel like i need to do something mechanical. i wouldn't mind buffing her but i don't have a buffing wheel and there's nowhere near that has a quality wheel.

also, i was daydreaming a few minutes ago about when ivtec becomes readily available for our cars. wondering if that will drop the price of aem ems, raise it, or not effect it much. i think it'll remain about the same because with ivtec, aftermarket engine management is almost a necessity.

The mod bug is evil. Thing about the mod bug once you start a little you cant stop. Then it gets to the point you dont even drive the damn thing. Once you get something started on it, it leads to something else, then you have to have this and so forth. I still have things in the garage that need to be thrown on the s2k but given the drive this weekend I put her on the ground!

Agreed man!! My mod bug has gotten so evil on my ass that I've had to take S2KI sabbaticals in order to get it outta mind!

I totally agree. It all started with a damn tornado at autozone and now I am about to be a beta tester for skunk2's new throttle body. Crap, so much money!!!! It's like u don't want to spend anymore money, but then you see something on the boards and you are like" damn that looks so cool. It would look cool on my car too!!" and then sometimes it doesn't. that is the infection of the mod bug

The big loss is going from FI back to NA back to FI. Its an expensive lesson that I hope I can help others prevent.

N/A is getting expensive to get good gains. Only FI can give u crazy power. Only I got is better throttle response and maybe reliability. If I had to do it all over, I would go kraft works from the beginning. I probably invested 5+K into the car and made about 30 whp. Not including accessories like smoked side markers. If I did then it would be in the 8k range. Good god!!! Man that is so much money. Good thing this is my only bad habit or addictions. No money on beer, cogs, or kids. If only I didn't have a gf. God, my car would be BOSS!!! Lolz

I have found that when I am really busy, I dont look at this site..... when I dont look at this site, I dont buy stuff for the car.... seems to be a relationship.

Now that I am done moving, I made the mistake and looked. Now I have some of those nifty LED conversions on the way for my parking lights, license plate, and reverse lights. Also got that ball valve for oil changes (still not sure how I feel about that one). Oh and I have a used snorkel and matching cooling plate that will be shipped to me sometime this weekend.... lol. oops
