That makes sense... Well come and be a ride along partner! I think if you pay $20 and sign a waiver then you can ride with someone.

I forgot that you just bought the car... That changes everything...

If at all possible... see if you can borrow a Snell approved helmet. If not they claim they have loaners available.

You can drive less agressively than me and save the tires. I'm telling you PJK3 do it once even as a ride along and you will be hooked.

It is tons of fun.

By the way, the wife was riding and she only paid $10.00

See you Thursday Brian.

and i'd love to be a ride along partner for someone who'd tolerate me... i was hoping to get some good 2nd hand experience and some DE before getting out there myself...

and thinking about it, i have a couple motorcycle helmets at the house that a friend of mine leaves there - but i'm not sure what their rating is... they are reasonably new (one ~ 7 yrs old, one ~2 yrs old)
what would they have to be rated to be useable?

Look for the word Snell or something that says SM95 or SA95. Even if they don't have the Snell rating... bring them anyway.

Phil... tomorrow? I think you mean Thursday right?

Yeah I have a camcorder... I even have a camera mount. I just thought it would be neat to get a session in with someone holding the camera and not have it be so static.

I plan on leaving Hammond about 2:30-3:00 ish
