That was fun... I actually had a pretty nice time today. The engine pull was uneventful and it was nice seeing a few familiar faces.
Best moment: Experiencing wicked boots via EVO 8. That car is sick!
Nicole, on the way home I started thinking about it. There is absolutely no way I can get one as a daily driver... The car I choose MUST be an escape from the aftermarket. I could never own that car and not want parts for it. I'm spending enough on the S. This is gonna be tougher than I thought. I loved that EVO!

Wait until you get a ride in Rob's. He ended up with a "leather edition". Not an MR but very nice with HIDs, leather interior, factory sub, some other goodies. It's also an 8 ('05). And its white!

Thanks again Nicole. That was fun and I didn't even have a chance to really get into the corners as much as I would have liked... and I would like to know what 5th gear feels like (TWSS, OH!)

Well another chapter in the Locost book has been written. The MULLET is now gone. It was gobbled up by our very own Miata collector KWICKER! The wife has a baby shower in two days and it had to go!
Have you ever wondered what it be like to cut a car in half? Really? Me too! So I thought now is my chance to try it. Let me tell you it was as cool as it sounds. Cutting a car in half is something everyone should try! I figured it would make loading it on the trailer easier since it had no front wheels and the rears were locked up. Well that is my story and I am sticking to it!
THE PROUD NEW OWNER!!!
I am happy to know that it went to a good cause. May the parts from that car help many a spec pinata/crash miata/spec miata driver happy!
