So that hardcore biker all american dude that calls all cars but american crap is one of those guys right.. Well i work with one of those guys tried and tried to get him to sit in the passenger seat of my car (berlina black AP1) absolutely refused.. Well out cruising around here comes a blue 350Z in my rear view (looks like this guys in a hurry) no one else on the road gets on my @$$ so i moved into the right lane he follows so as the typical person i am not to take $#it from no one taps the brakes (to flash lights) to let them know to back off.. Well its pretty dark in this persons car so i pulled into the gas station he follows preparing my self for the impossible, guy jumps out of his car and look who it is MR all american biker from work. What gives i asked him he said it was his sons car and he went to take it in to trade it for a truck and he fell in love with it LMAO what are you supposed to say to people like that?????

well some of you might know. i just picked up a 2012 impreza (non wrx). i traded my dad my S2000 for it. im looking at my old threads that i posted in. i just dont care that much on modifying it that much anymore. i just dont feel like modifying the impreza or the s2000 anymore. i dont want to modify the impreza because of all the money i had to put into the s2k to actually make a difference in driving. lol i dont want to modify the s2000 anymore not because it is no longer my car, but because i think seeing the comfort ability of the impreza changed how i see my s2000. i kinda feel like i want to part out the s2000 and change it back to stock. i find myself less and less on this site anymore. i used to consistently go check this forum almost 5 times a day. also, driving the impreza around for awhile now, i think i may have ruined my s2000 driveability. the thing has so much NHV, i put in stiffer mounts and a stiff ETD. The clutch buzz is a killer, diff whine ehh. im saying, adding but by bit wasnt so bad and was easy to adapt to little by little but jumping from the impreza to the s2k, DEAR GOD!!! what have i done!!??

Lol I understand your rant there sir. Having the turbo kit and plus my current situation with kids the s2000 has literally in 3 years maybe put a 1000 miles on it. Having the turbo kit on it I was always cautious how I drove the car, every sound I second guess, every hiccup always had me thinking it was the end of the world. After me taking the kit off I have driven it alot more and drive without worry. Case in point I think once you modify the car so much it takes the enjoyment/driveabilty out of it.

Did you ask him how he felt about it? Him not knowing directly what was modded might not have an effect on him. He might think its perfect the way it is ")

he is a 57 year old man. the only thing he loves about it is the looks and it is a convertible. not the power, not the handling, not the direct feel. the fastest he has gone is 30mph in third gear. his house to work is less than a mile. i would imagine he would want something easy to drive. i can see why my gf doesn't like my car too much. it can be hard to live with. lol i can only imagine my dad's expression when he listens to the car and hears all the ticking, whines, and other odd noises. lol i guess i should ask what he doesn't like about it and move from there.
