Should be picking up my 1st S2000 in a week. HAve gone for a bog standard 1999 in black with half leather. As its an import anything i should look out for, dont think its a type v, but not sure!! LOL Any help would be great

remember that the ESVA will correct some of the differences on the car.. however a few minor points remain, depends on how tough the ESVA is.

unfortunately you may have been given some wrong information about the seats..

cars supplied to the Japan market are sold either without leather (base model) or with full leather as an option. There is no half leather. What looks like half leather is infact vinyl. Unless you were very lucky to get somebody to alter the car.. or maybe your 99 model preceeds my knowledge on JDM S2000's ~ 2001 onwards..

btw.. it won't be a type V, that was introduced after your car was made..
