Default Leather

I was under the impression that all S2000's had leather, my neighbour swears he saw one a month or so ago with cloth!

Can anyone clear this up as he thinks I am lying?

Cheers

Some Japanese imports have half-leather, half-cloth seats.

Apart from the very first T-reg cars, which were JDM imports, all UK cars have had full leather from Day One.

You can buy cloth seat covers that are custom fitted, so maybe that's what he saw. Here's a thread regarding the install on some Wet Okole seat covers.

He may have seen a JDM import, which have that option.

Or rather, cloth is the standard and leather is the option.

JDMs have half leather ( well I'm told its vinyl ) but either way they are 'non slide'...and don't stick to your arse in hot summer weather.

They are unfortunately the same shape as the full leather though...and as a result, not a good seat in my opinion.

Yep - vinyl and cloth is std on JDM's
Some prefer them as they don't give you a sweaty back & crack
