In NZ Autocar there was a feature on the upcoming replacement of the 350Z, the 370Z. Uses the 3.7L V6 from the Iniifit G37 which makes 343kw but the Z car might have that tweaked for more power. Apparently the wheelbase is going to be shortened as well for "more agility". I just hope they don't make the same mistake as they did for the orignal Z series from the 240Z/280Z/300ZX and fatten her up. Otherwise it sounds pretty sweet. Interior upgraded and headlights changed. Overall shape looks pretty similar though. The Cayman S is still too expensive on the second hand market, this might be a worthy alternative...

 

hmmm , dont think it will have the 343kw's under the bonnet ( would be awesome though) as it would rival the GTR if thats the case.

there were pictures of what the 370z could look like floating around on the net. doesnt look that nice imo. the headlights ruin the look.

 

i was thinking with 343kw's its more likely to rival the F430 !

its usually the case these days with new models, they generally come out fatter.

Saw the latest 08 model 350z behind me in traffic today and the budge in the bonnet looks shit IMO. Its like the design team ran out of ideas on how to facelift it so they just got a mullet and beat the shit out of the bonnet.
