If you plan on using the bus to get around be prepared from some long journeys. I did Cairns -> Melb once on the bus, 40 hours!
kida is correct, there are no nuclear power stations in Aus. Stupid really considering we are sitting on the worlds largest uranium deposit.
If you're looking to pickup an S over, here be prepared to pay a lot more than in the UK for a good example.
