Default I'm back

That trip was a real eye opener.

I loved Singapore. Sydney could learn a lot from Singapore. Like the subway tickets that cost an extra dollar but you get it back when you return the ticket. No trees cut down and no litter! And signs about being Gracious, which the people really are. And so pretty too. Sat till the wee hours drinking Singapore Slings in Raffle's Long Bar.

Then there is China. What a mess of rude, pushy spitting people. I can't believe that nation can pull together what seems to be a reasonably effective society. It is a 3000 year hold history of human abuse that continues today. If the pollution doesn't kill you the Beijing Opera will.

Hmm.. a Singapore Sling at Raffles is about $18 from memory. You're earning too much pal.

Did you oil the floor with your peanut shells whilst there?

One of the things I like most about Singapore, apart from being a beautiful modern hi-tech city/state is that you can walk around at all hours of the night and feel perfectly safe.

Jap - Nothing from your shopping list.

Bought loads of clothes and shoes and stuff.

Muz - Sure the drinks are expensive but the peanuts are free. Met a guy called Bill from Arizona who was the spitting image of Ed McMann from WWE (and I don't even watch it). We bought him a sling too.

I loved everything about Singapore.

In China the wall is a knock out. And the architecture in Shanghai is mind blowing. So is the 431kph Maglev train.
