Shoot.. I thought they added MMS on this one.. that's something I DO use... gah!
Whilst waiting in line I got out my tRusty Dopod and snapped a pic of the queue.

I sent it via MMS to my girlfriend. Got a message back that she can't download multimedia messages. She has a Blackberry.

That's a good article
I think I'll stick with Nokia
Ten reasons to hate the Ferrari
1. Terrible gas mileage. When are they going to make a friggin' hybrid?
2. No room for luggage.
3. Won't carry enough groceries home from Costco.
4 That red color attracts cops.
5. Can only pick up one kid at a time from school.
6. Valets expect a good tip.
7. Hot women just won't leave me alone.
8. Never get to ride in the 3+ carpool lane.
9. Speed limit is only 70.
10. Doesn't come with an automatic.

It would be good if it was factual.
I'm currently considering buying a new phone and need to learn fast.
2. It has Flash support, as soon as Adobe release the Flash plugin.
3. AIM is available.
5. It works with most headsets and car kits just like any other phone.
8. MMS is available through a third party app.
9. It has Nav but not voice. How long do you think it will be before a 3rd party addresses this?
10. Apple's Push email works directly with Exchange server.
But my major objection with the article is not the content but the title. It is very emotive. The points he brings up may be valid reasons not to purchase an iPhone but surely not enough to have negative emotions towards one.

Oh, and before I forget, he is comparing the iPhone to the best features of a range other phones. Nokias, Blackberrys and assorted smart phones and some unnamed caera with a 5 megapixel camera (presumably a Sony CyberShot).
Hardly a fair comparison. Any single phone compared to the best features of a range of other phones will come up second best. And not a real world comparison because you can't get all these features in a single phone.
The iPhone is an average spec device. Where it shines (in typical Apple form) is in the seamless interface. OS X really shines in the compact package and gesture based touch screen interface.

Whew! Monthly went from $91 w/ Telstra to $61 w/ Optus. Sounds good to me. I can deal with no mms for now
