I also used the nav feature last night.

I had been given an incorrect address (Forest instead of Foster) and unlike conventional nav systems the iPhone doesn't appear to have a drill down function. I looked the restaurant up on Google and got the correct address.

I caught a bus to Central and figured I'd walk from there directed by the iPhone. Got off the bus and fired up the nav function and waited.....

Server Error!

The first time I've actually had to rely on it and it gives an error. Fortunately after a few anxious minutes it came back up and directed me to the front door.

Oh, and I can highly recommend La Sala restaurant in Foster St Surry Hills.

Got my iphone today. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a 3G sim card and so now my iphone is nothing more than a 133g paperweight. Been on the phone with optus for the past 40min and still nothing sorted.

Downloaded Crash Bandicoot Racing the other day. Not really into games but the graphics are excellent.

Today I looked into ring tones. Apple have restricted ring tones to songs you have downloaded from iTunes Store and paid extra to use as a ring tone.

Of course there is a hack:

You can just throw whatever existing ringtone you had before, or make your own in Garageband too. All you do is drag the song/tone into Garageband, then take any 40 sec part.

Then use the tools to import to itunes as ringtone.
