Default My new whip

The S is great but it's not the most practical car. I needed something to carry people to and from events and thought a 7 seater might do:

Wow, didn't expect that. I guess a Civic is far more manly.

I looked at the Kluger but it didn't match the performance of the Ford and was generally a lot more expensive.

I was also unimpressed by the looks.

Little story with a lesson in it for young players:

The Ford had a clunk in the suspension. I'm determined not to work on this car. That's what the Honda is for. So I took it to Pedder's for their $28 suspension check. The news was not good. $4250 in repairs!

I got under the car, replaced the sway bar mount bushes and problem fixed. Total cost: $24 and my resolve not to work on this car.

Moral is, Pedder's suck huge donkey balls.

They sure do! My buddy (whom you sold your H&R springs too many years back) was charged in excess of $700.00 to install them. Pity he didn't know any better at the time. Frustrating to think about all the people they rip off

Damn, can't believe he went for that. Think I paid $770 for them new and installed.
