bored at work.........................
I agree it's a boring car to drive, but my old man loves it. I have also driven a Quattro and it just doesn't have that fun side of it compared to my S.

Steering is very heavy and not particularly responsive. It basically looks like a grown up version of a VW beetle .

hahahaha. I am just trying to be more friendly on his wallet. He didn't want a Boxter S, just the Boxter. The ones with extremly low km's on it are pretty expensive and they are not exactly that quick either for the price they go for. Mind you my old man drives like an old man, extremly slow .

One of the main points was that he did not want a convertable either (He didn't know they are softops for the older version ones). He is really wierd and thinks that all cars that are convertables or have sunroofs will eventually leak. Don't ask why but that is his theory.

Other option was a Mini S. I absolutely hate Mini's (long story) so I refused to do all the maintenance on it for him if he bought it (I pay and take care of all maintenance of our cars).

My mum loves the older looking TT compared to the new one cause it looks more round . So we ended up buying this one.

And my S:

Was trying to be very realistic on not choosing the Porka. Although it would've been nice to have a Porka in the driveway, the average price on even a second hand Base Boxter with a fair amount of km's and around 2000+ build date would be in the 60K+ mark for a very tidy one.

Maintenance on a slightly higher km Boxter wouldn't be cheap if anything was to go wrong either.
