[Bris] CANCELLED Skid Pan Day - Saturday April 28
* * * UPDATE * * *
Guys,
We've had to cancel this skid pan day as the Mt. Cotton Driver Training Facility have a couple of new restrictions. Primarily:
1. No drifting allowed.
Mt. Cotton now strictly forbids drivers from intentionally putting his or her car into a "drift".
2. All cars driven on the skid pan, must be observed at 90dB or less from the sound measurement device. From memory, this was close to the road but right next to the track. I know this would knock out a few of the participating cars.
Any breach of these rules would result in the ejection of the respective car from the skid pan, with no refund.
Due to these reasons, CrazyCase and I have canned the skid pan day. We are currently looking at other options so stay tuned...

Brisvegans and Coasties,
(all else are also most welcome)
CrazyCase and I are thinking of organising a skid pan day on Saturday April 28. There'll be a minimum number for us to book the venue at Mt. Cotton, which - along with costings and other information - I'll post as further details arrive. But for now, we'd like to gauge any expressions of interest. Your friends and family are also welcome to attend.
For those that have never been to a skid pan, it's a great opportunity to exercise your car control when it's out-of-control, in a relatively safe and supervised environment.
So, are you up for it? Reply to this post if you are!
