Default Aem Cai

Who has them in Sydney? Reputable dealers?

Anyone have any personal experience with this mod?

Can anyone help me out with any feedback on the AEM cold air intake? Where to locate one?

Suggest you contact AusS2000(Wayne) - he produces one. I have no experience with it, but have heard good reports.

OR, you could make your own !!!

Cheers,

Mark

Honda9krpm was looking for an AEM a little while back I think. Do an adv search on the Aus forum and intakes and you'll see.
I doubt that you're going to get the same sound out of Aus's intake extension that you will with something like the AEM or PRM intake since it is still muffled. Advantage is that Aus's intake wont increase the likelihood of hydrolock as much as the others.
Not sure if this issue is of concern since Ive heard that they all require a decent puddle to get wet.

i dont think anyone carries aem as it is an american product and costs mucho doneros, about AUS$700+ when u convert it with postage and all, its pretty big with all the piping.
anyway, chucky has one and it makes a great induction roar when ur on it, and u have to go through a lot of water to get hydrolock

If you really want the AEM style and sound you might want to speak to 4IGS. He's making a copy and they are much cheaper. I think he's having production problems though (aren't we all).

My intake is just an extension of the stock intake box. So if Honda know anything about induction (and I'd like to think they do) then you get all it's benefits (including the hydrolock protection) plus ambient air all the time.
