Default CARB sticker for AEM intake?

Well I got pulled over and got away with merely a fix-it for my AEM intake (but not my Spoon exhaust at full volume, or my blatant 65 in a 50 -- go figure, but I am NOT complaining!).

I know that some AEM CAI owners have gotten CARB stickers to remedy this very situation, is it just a matter of calling up AEM and asking for it?

Steve the last time that I called AEM they still did not have CARB certs for the S2000 intake. I check about a month ago in the EO# database as well and there is no listings for intakes for the S2000 other then a prelisting for the DC intake which I have never seen in production form.

I think you are out of luck. AEM did at one point state that they were going to get CERT's for all of there product with a wide statement EO# but I believe that they are still a ways off for that and it still will not cover back products as far as I understand.

Give then a call maybe something has changed in the last month or two.

If it doesn't work out, shoot me a PM. I'll try to dig up a copy of my receipt for you.

At my local get-together this past weekend one of the members of the group had an AEM CAI and it had the CARB sticker already on it.

So they do exist.

I would love to have a receipt for this purpose, as well....any chance someone could send me one? My baby is 3 years old, which means during inspection time they're going to start checking emission items soon...a sticker would be helpful.

I just got word that AEM will refer you to specific shops where they can inspect your intake and verify that it's AEM etc, and the shop will go and send for the CARB sticker for you etc. So now I just gotta call AEM.

Steve thats good news to hear, the one thing that worries me is that there is no mention of the EO# or that I could not find it in the database, I have been using that as my CARB legal parts search for the S and the G.

I bought mine used too, maybe I can get a sticker as well.
