I was checking that out on ebay nefore......sonds like the logical thing to get so I can watch DVD, surf the net, have GPS software in it and most importantly "read the threads on s2ki whilst driving"

Bringing up an old school thread but does anyone have the factory gps unit installed from factory and if so can you take some measurements for me as I'm trying to get the exact location so I know where to cut my dash to install my nexus 7 tablet. I'll be using the factory gps dash bezel as well

I've moved on. The screen I had installed with a heavily modified Naz bezel and DVD head unit is no more.

I now have a Parrot Asteroid Smart HU and am awaiting a new bezel. The Smart doesn't have CD/DVD but who listens to music/watches movies on discs anymore anyway.

yeh i couldn't agree more, i remembered you had a different bezel and screen originally, but are you going to use the oem gps bezel now and if so can i get the measurements off yours assuming its in the factory position

Yeah, the Smart is double DIN as is the OEM Nav unit. So I bought a virgin bezel and will install it when it gets here. I'll take some pics so you know where it goes.
