Default Plastic rear window

Has any one attempted to get HA to replace this under "good will" or warranty in Australia?

My window is terrible! Its fairly well kept and has minimal scratches. However, there are 2 creases which are fairly difficult to see through.

Damn stupid honda......why did the window has to be plastic? Make the damn thing out of the glass to begin with and leave the weight reduction to Jenny Craig

Get hold of the Maguires No 17 Clear Plastic Cleaner and clean the inside and outside and it should return to near new. It takes a bit of a contortion act on the inside but worth every bit of effort and it lasts ~3-4 months.

Don't be tempted to use the cleaner/polish No 18 as I found it didn't do as good as a job as the cleaner on it's own.

I dont think any cleaner out there can actually dereases the plastic window

I used the OEM honda. The window is quite clean and visible, but the creases are dreadful on a $70K car.

This morning I saw a RX7 series VI or VII, convertible with a GLASS rear window. OMG this car is at least 10 years old and has better rear visibility than my 2.5 years old car

Make it quite clear to the crooks that it is a safety issue.

Afterall it does ahve an adverse effect on rearward visibility.

Yeah, and I had a '84 Le Baron convertible with a glass rear. So what if the car cost $70k ,there are plenty of other MORE EXPENSIVE current cars like the Boxster and Z3 that came with a plastic rear window.
