Radio lid replacement
Hello,
I'm trying to take off the lid that hides the radio.
But can't seem to take the lid off it.
Any one know how to do this?
Thanks,

Have you pulled the radio door/vents assembly off yet?
You open the radio door and then wiggle it side to side whilst levering around the top of the vents with something plastic (so it won't scratch). The whole thing eventually pops out.
Then use some coat hanger wire to push the pins out at either side of the door hinge. Just push them a few mm out and then pull with a pair of needle nose pliers. There is a little spring on one side that you must be careful not to lose and take note of how it is fitted for reassembly.
I'll see if I can dig up some photos.

Hello AusS2000,
Yes I've already got the assembly out. I was just wondering what would be the best way to take the hollow pins out.
I'll try it out again this afternoon....
Thank you for your advice and I will go and try it!
Thanks alot!
