Rear Ended - Need Advice

Rear Ended - Need Advice
While I was away on holidays, I lent my MY00 S to my good mate. Unfortunately, my S got rear ended by a shitsubishi Mirage.
Initial observations looks like minor damage to the rear bumper however, the boot lid doesn't seem to line up exactly to its surrounding.
The bloke at fault doesn't want to have insurance involved but I'm thinking the repairs will be more than his excess.
Any recommendations for good smash repairers in/around Kogarah area of Sydney?
Thanks in advanced guys.

yes, there's always further damage once you remove the bumper .
Best to get a quote . You might want to try ESR at Earlwood . They do a really good job . Just a long waiting list .

Yeah, go with the insurance... I was young and naive once and let a guy talk me into not claim with insurance and got screwed badly. Worse part is that he was a panelbeater in Kogarah!

yeah my some commodore t boned my brother a few weeks ago and he said he will pay cash ..
not suprisingly he tried to get his car fixed and not deny the claim.
my brother did the smart thing and called insurance and filed a report.
his cars in repairs now.
dont trust nobody buddy , just get your car fixed through insurance.

Thanks for the feedback guys
Vuey, I was on my honeymoon and left the S with my best man. I fully trust him. It wasn't' his fault anyhows.
I've seen ESR - they always have Porsches and high end vehicles there. Thats one quote down, but my insurance requires me to have 2 quotes. Any other suggestions?
