Default Stone chip & dent repair

Hi,

I have a nasty dent and chip right at the front of the bonnet of the X-Trail (now I know why people have those plastic bonnet protector things on!) and was looking for a mobile repair company to fix it. Before I go with ChipsAway purely because I know the name and they can do this sort of repair, can any recommend a company they have used for a combined dent and paint repair?

Thanks,

Adam

Thanks Aust, I have seen that thread (I searched first like a good forum user! ) but most of the places recommended are paintless, I need one that will remove the dent and then repair the paint as well.

I've considered doing a 'Dent and drinks' day at my place.

The idea would be to get a bunch of guys together who need door dings and similar repaired together and let ChipsAway or similar work on them whilst we have a BBQ in the back yard.

Should be able to get a reasonable discount and end up with a belly full of lager and snags.

Have you thought about seperating the problems? Get the dent fixed and then take it to a paint shop?

I think that it sounds as though you've found someone that has the resources to do both but if you doubt them for any reason just get seperate quotes and ask them for a detailed scope regarding the paint repair because there are right ways to do it and there are wrong wrong wrong ways.

How would we nominate the 'dqa'? (Designated quality assurer) All those beer goggles in one street we'd end up dinging our cars more getting out of there!

Hmm, I've always wondered about the name of that vehicle.

If it's a Nissan then shouldn't it be called an N-Trail ?
