If you want heavier wheels ... No problem at all, I'm sure there are enough sources around with the prices as well. Lighter than standard? That's a tough punt ... You could try Tempe Tyres, someone told me that you could get Volk's TE37s there however I'm not investing my cash there. Any other stuff like Spoon or Mugen, bad luck ... No one will bring any in.

No problem getting Works or Alstadts, just be prepared to part with 5 G's for the pleasure.

The BBS wheels (as used on Ferrari's) are lighter in weight and heavier in cost. I was quoted $1650 per wheel, that's $6600 for a set. However, they will throw in (at no extra cost) a set of tyres of your choosing.

In the January 2001 edition of Hot 4's there was an article about a yellow S2000 from J's Racing in Sydney which was fitted with PR-6 wheels. You'd have to find & contact J's Racing to discover where they come from.

Ah so! Yes, after seeing your post I went back to the magazine article and noticed a little sign on the back of the car that said

http://www.jsracing.co.jp

I guess you could visit the site and contact them about the wheels if you wish.

I doubt you're going to walk in somewhere and find they have a set of Volks on display, let alone a set for the S. But if you want some retailers to try....

Give the following a call:
Ozzy Tyres Bexley 9567 4584
Aust Best Lakemba 9750 3533
In Look Gladesville 9817 8899

I got the speakers, amp, and changer locally.

I bought the head unit from Pinky with his mod.

If you want an aftermarket head unit Pinky's mod is great. You can get the PAC SWI-3 unit itself for about $120 and do all the adjustments and wiring yourself, but if you prefer a turnkey solution it is probably worthwhile paying the $300 and getting a completely wired up harness.

The head unit is the model above the top of the line ABP unit sold here, and with Pinky's mod, duty, and freight, cost me about the same as the head unit alone here.

One thing to be aware of though is that the US uses 10Khz spacing for AM channels and we use 9. So AM is a bit of dud. No big deal to me as I never listen to it. Infact, I only discovered this problem last week.

I think one of the European Alpine units with the dash control adaptor from Alpine is a better solution, but that wasn't an option when I did mine, and mine works beautifully.
