Who to see to tune an Emanage?
Just wondering who has taken their Greddy Emanage Ultimate where to have it tuned? What kind of hp gains have you achieved and what has it set you back $$ wise? I want someone who will get the absolute most out of it for a fair price. I have no internal mods, just had the head fully rebuilt though with 7 angle valve job, ever so slight skim, polished outlet, new injectors, new sparkies, new seals, gaskets and o rings. Fully major serviced with fresh oil every where and an engine flush too. Have a CAI, lukey exhaust system and 70mm test pipe for breathing mods. Stage 2 clutch, 7.5lb flywheel and cryo'd 4.77 gears in the drive train. None of which will gain decent numbers on their own I know, but all of it is brand new so I'm hoping for a decent noticable power gain after a good tune. I live in Newcastle but I'm more than willing to head down sydney. At the moment I plan to take it to unigroup performance. Would love a review if anyone has ever delt with them as I never heard about them till a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance guys
Oh, and for those of you thinking it, yes, I probably should have just boosted it, but I love the fact I can beat a majority of cars on the road and still call it an N/A little 4 cylinder

The fact that you can beat a majority of cars out NA means the car is is highly tuned and breathes well from the factory. So don't be disappointed when the e-manage doesn't net huge (or even significant) gains.
NA mods work well on non-optimised cars because they bring it closer to optimised. And the e-manage provides the tuning to allow for these improvements.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depends how you look at it) Honda didn't leave a lot on the table so anything short of FI won't be impressive.

I understand its not going to be any thing like FI could be. A few people with basic bolt ons have claimed to have gained any where from 25 to 40hp at the wheels after a good tune. I was thinking if i was able to gain aroud the 30hp mark it would be enough to feel a bit of a gain compared to stock. Do you think these numbers are not impressive or are you saying I probably won't get close to these numbers?

Uni group is where I was planning to take it originally before I asked on here. I only recently heard about them though and everyone I ask hasnt heard of them at all. They sounded like they knew what they were talking about when I spoke to a bloke over the phone. Just hadn't heard any reviews.
I might look into SAS for a few reviews too.

So ive now found several results from s2000's after having an emanage tuned and they have resulted in slightly less max torque and hp! It's only been 1-3hp and the same amount of nM. The only gains were in mid range rpm (4500-6500). Surely this isn't the usual result? I'm hoping the owners of these cars were only interested in mid range power. Shifting at 8500 you won't even drop to those rpms. Only benifit will be in 1st gear or with everyday driving. Is it possible to tune for top end power instead?
