Didn't know it wasn't.... but if so, I'm guessing because they (Ferrari) weren't willing to crash test a few Enzo's, just to pass the ADR's - for <5 cars to be sold in Australia?!

here's a few more wild guesses

It may not be right hand drive
The tail lights may not be high enough off the ground
The seat belt mounts may not be australian spec
The mufflers may not sufficiently reduce the noise
No cat converter? No emmission test done?
It may not carry a spare tyre
It may not yet have been submitted to the Australian authorities for approval?

On asking one of the "enzo minders" at the Ferrari stand of the Sydney Motor Show he said that basically no right hand drive Enzo's will be made, and that because of this they can't submit the car to the Australian authorities for approval...

But I don't know whether he was a good source of info or not. He seemed important, all suit-like, old'ish and italian.

wil..

Wilch, you are correct, no ifs or buts. The Enzo, like the F40 and F50 before it, is only available in LHD.

I am pretty sure the F40 did come in right hand drive.

I saw an F40 driving along a freeway on Father's day.

I think that they have to have a special rego thing where you are only allowed to drive it 21 days a year and you have to nominate your route and time. Thats wahat Wheels said about a Tasmanian one a couple of years ago.

Aust you can drive LHD cars here but they've got to meet certain requirements. One of which i think is they must be at least 30 (not too sure on this) years old, or built before a certain date.

So start saving and in 30 years you can be the first aussie to have an Enzo as a daily driver
