Dan what suburb are you in? Let's decide on a petrol station to meet at and confirm that with everyone who wants to go on Sunday morning.
I am fine with whichever way ...

Iggy,
Peter & I are both in Bulleen, reasonably close to the corner of Bulleen Road & Manningham Road.
All,
Could everybody please express a preference for a route up so we can see if there is some common consensus. Perhaps we may need to split into 2 groups, one for the Hume and one for the alternative. Those who live in the far eastern suburbs may prefer the Maroondah highway?
Perhaps wait until we see 2kTurkey's post first.

Re the Fire Extinguisher brackets: I've given up on the first supplier and the new one looks more promising - cars with "GP" plates in the car park - they have promised them for next week, at a round $15 (compared to $35 for the originals)

Hmm. It seems most of us are in the Eastern, or inner Eastern suburbs.
Wherever we meet up, it needs to be a spot that everyone can accurately guess their ETA, nothing worse than waiting for people when you've got ants in your pants.
I'm thinking one of the large petrol stations on Hoddle St?
From there it would only be a few minutes over to Sydney Rd (Hume). No traffic at that time on a Sunday!
