Company is getting car trailer and Oddessy V6 to tow my typeR or company race EG6, getting delivered in January and I will do more interstate track day. Still sourcing aftermarket parts for the Oddessy, found the suspension, need some rims and extractor and we will bring that one down to to the track, shoudl be pretty fun

ok so i didnt get laser timed last friday at Wakefield..... but the times i got from the stopwatch was consistent. Unfortunately it wasnt a club day or anything just an ordinary Wakefield open day, the only instance i was timed officially was when i was at Philip Island!! yes i know, very eager indeed to travel that distance lol
but anyway..... i wasnt running semis slicks........ i had Azenis up front and RE711 at the back. If you still consider Azenis R rated tyres then what can i say!!! They are just marginally grippier than my RE711. I cant wait to find another set of 16's and mount RE540's on them, geee wonder what times i would get.

i really have to comment on the video clips ITR vs S14
the itr had 200ps vs 220 on the s14
thats 147 kw vs 164 or so
with a turbo it doesn't mean you will win, it was a matter of power to weight, gear ratio and drivetrain etc
s14 wins on take of as RWD
the not much of a top end compared to a R on aggressive cam
with the MOTOR tests, i like to see them test a 10000km vehicle instead of a vehicle for news and mags.
the R's engine is hand finished remember? so it is incredibly tight at new as those with one can remember. it takes a while to
rum in and oput of the box, i could just keep up with my friend's VTiR integ. except 80kms onwards
after it was run in properly, he could not keep up
for example, i helped with the turbo installation on his car and he wanted a drag
i had air filter, cat (2 1/5") and mugen exhaust. i thought i could not keep up and decided not to drag, but for research
so over two runs, he had me on midrange until VTEC kicked in and then he stayed on pace with me until third gear VTEC when i started to pull away
so many experiences that i do not want to bore you, i sell cars for a living and drive many
na can be quick
so can turbos

Ok guys, I race my friends all the time (Somewhere in Homebush industrial area, nice and flat road), our cars are basically all stock, we launch our cars from dead stop, and race until about 150km/h, and this is usually the outcome:
1. S2000 vs S15, dead even.
2. S2000 vs JDM Type R, S2000 wins by 2 carlength.
3. S14 vs JDM Type R, S14 wins by 1-1.5 carlength.
4. JDM Type R vs AUS Type R, dead even.
5. S15 vs S14, S15 wins by 1 carlength, S15 pulls 1 car length at the launch immediately (due to the new LSD system on the S15...we think) and stayed the same all the way.
6. S2000 vs S14, never tried, I don't trust anyone with my cars, but according to JDM Type R, the S14 is just slightly slower than the S2000.
