OFF TOPIC:

Hey everyone I'm Paul and I just wanted to introduce myself. I didn't want to start a thread in the main forum, as it's all about auto racing and no point in making "intro threads". I've been reading a lot but haven't been posting at all, and I feel like it's about time to stop being a virgin poster in Auto Racing forum. That would be it for now ...

Thanks for the welcome
As far as F1 goes, I've been a Honda fan for a long time, even though they are not doing so well . I like Ferrari w/ Kimi, not a huge fan of Masa though, as well as BMW w/ Kubica. I've never liked McLaren, and I don't like Hamilton at all; not that I wish him bad or anything, but he made a lot of stupid comments and now he's paying for it. Karma is a bitch

Well for nowadays you are fine, I could not agree with ya more, perfect reply as far as I'm concerned, but again, for nowadays.

You see, I'm older, and my disdain for McLaren only dates back to when they joined up with MB, becaue at one time, it was McLaren Honda, and they ruled because they had The Man!

ELLEN-
- Thx for the air conditioned bathrooms at IRL, that Grandstand seat was fun. I won't ever sit there ahgain, but it was fun once, awesome view of the pits. For GOOD racing, I tell ya, spend the money and get a reserved seat in The Ninety Grandstand, it is superior for watching racing action.
- I made great time, I was out of the parking lot in no time and home in only an extra 15 minutes.
- How was your drive home?
- See my questions in the IRL thread.

Interesting that you would only ask about a team and not a driver?

I'm sure there have been many many many MANNNNYYYYY discussions about this but THIS F1 fan supports drivers, not teams.

This year = Robert Kubica. He won me over last year, even though I was cheering on Kimi to win DC. And you know I'm a fan of his driving, 'cause it SURE ain't his LOOKS!

Had a very easy ride home, I was walking down the stairs when they waved the checkers. I was in the first 100 people to get to my car. Made it home in almost the exact time mapquest said I should so I lost maybe 15 minutes.

I left the same way we came into the track, going straight at the 16 intersection and down into Montour (have I mentioned how much I TomTom?) The only reliable man in my life Actually that should be a

I'm a pit stop junkie, I love being able to see the pits. Next year (hopefully) I will try section 10, row 30

That's fine, that's great in fact, however not all of us see it that way.

I support teams first, then I support certain drivers. In addition, if there is a driver I supported one year and he goes to a wrong team, I will no longer support him, that's just the way it is.

Ironically enough, I think this too is why there are some so against team orders. I have no problem with them, because the team comes first, the drivers are second.

Well enjoy next year's seat alone I'll catch up to you in other places because although it was fun to watch the pits this year, I just find watching cars flash by straight to be a tad boring when you are at a road course. I'll go back to outside Turn One or outside Turn Two, or who knows, if the AM radio station broadcasting thing which is new to The Glen is working well, I'll head down to Turn 7.

The extra :15 was about the only difference I had too, and that was just around Watkins Glen area.

I'm glad I took you up to the track on the Montour Falls road past the hospital, that is the best way to get down to 14 from the track for sure.

Again, thanks for the ticket, it was good to hang out with ya at the track.
