Regardless of the Drivers' Championship outcome, I'm hoping M Schumacher can close out his F1 career with a win in Brazil.

Alonso may have been lucky today, but he worked hard to get himself into the best position to capitalize on that luck.

Schumi last lost an engine at France in 2000, and last had a major technical failure at Hockenheim (sp?) in '01. Really however, he had better luck than the B drivers, I think Reubens and Massa have had failures more recently.

This failure couldn't have come at a worse time though, since the odds of Alanso finishing outside the top 8 in Brazil while Schumacher wins seem very slight.

If only Renault hadn't fired their rear-right tire guy

POS will retire a LOSER, as I previously stated. The reasons FA hadn't clinched already were unrelated to his superlative driving skills. Jizzboy's luck ran out. Lapdog Felipe's ass is gonna be sore tonight.

I am laughing my ass off tonight. We even had Champagne. That's what you get for Rascasse, Italian Stewards, the list goes on and on.

See you at your place for Brazil, Marco.

Funny how Schu just kept the car on the racing line through the 2nd apex hoping to drop oil on the track.

desparation of an ungracious loser ( I saw that and was thinking the same thing at the time)

Q. Do you really believe it is over?

MS: This is what I say. I don't want to start a race believing and hoping that someone will retire. That is not the basis I want to win the championship on.

( ...like I did in '94 and tried again in '97 )

Q. What exactly happened on the 37th lap?

MS: There was no engine any more and everything went up in smoke.

Q. What went through your mind when it happened?

MS: You know it is a retirement, you know you lose 10 points and you know the consequences. And you also know in the first moments that the championship was decided like this.

Ummm, to dart across the track and take Hill, I mean Alonso, out... He says the championship has been decided by *his* engine failure. But was happy enough to benefit from Alonso's and Renault's problems at Hungary, Monza and China... But of course, the championship was not like it was decided there, was it? Were not for those MS would have been out of the WDC race long ago...

He's a dirtball, now an old disgraced dirtball who made dozens of mistakes in his last season. Let's see if he gets lapdog Massa to punt FA next race (certainly within his ways).

edit: Forgot to mention no deployment of the safety car when it should have been (as has been done in the past for lesser reasons) because guess who was leading the race at the time. Shameless
