I love that have gone away from traction control.
I think the ability to get the power to the ground without having the rear end break loose is half of performance driving.
It's the same as controlling the brakes and holding them right at the edge of lockup without flat spotting the tires.

I just love when I'm at the track and I ask a student if they know how to threshold brake and their reply is yes. And then I ask them to demonstrate their procedure and all they do is jam the brake floor to the floor, and let the ABS system do the job.
Threshold braking my assss...
It was fun to watch.
I know there were plenty of dumb moves, part of the fun, but Coulthard is an cranky old man who doesn't play nicely with others. Yet I heard he's a big whiner about just that. How come the other drivers don't throw a blanket party for him at one of their meetings?
Is Rubens DQ'd yet? C'mon, we need TWO cars that broke down to score points. How absurd is even one?!
Why didn't Ferrari refuel Kimi when it must have been okay late in the saefty car period? It didn't end up mattering that he was SO lucky not to beach it when he overcooked that pass. But it was a heart-stopper!
