Thanks all, sounds like I won't be disappointed if I stick around. So how does everyone keep up in the off-season? Is there a must reag mag or website (present forum included of course)?

man Triple-H, thats so awesome that u got kimi's autograph always been a fan of his
And it took me a while to figure out who the heck he was, he was just wearing a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt and a Puma pull-over, he was just hanging out at the fence at the edge of the secured compound, with a mob all around him, and no body guard, just real casual, sort of what you might expect from The Iceman...

I agree that seeing an F1 race in person is the best experience of the sport.
In-person is best, but the best of the best is to not just go for the race, but to go for the whole event. When I went to Indy I would arrive Wednesday night and leave on Monday morning. Thursday was pit-lane walk through, friday was lots of practice, Saturday was practice and qualifying, and of course Sunday was the race and the afterwards celebration and saying good bye to friends you won't see for a year.
I'm going to seriously miss Camp Hood, some off the best days of my life have been lived here.
