Ferrari may be a cursed seat. Kimi was a crazy-good driver in his McLaren days, not so long ago. But when he hopped to F something about the chassis never suited him. First it was brakes but I can't imagine what doesn't work for him now. Or is it just that he can't party as hard as he used to?

Same thing could happen to SV.

Hey Tifosi,
Do NOT forget that Kubica has lived in Italy most of his life, SPEAKS Italian, and is Damn fast.
There was talk last year about RK being in Red(vomit) in the future, and his contract with BMW is up at end of 09.
As far as SV goes, I am still not convinced he is a DNA cloan of the retired Feuher Heir MS.
If he is in fact a DNA cloan, do you think Dieter would let the blood leave Germany south east(Austria)??
If Newey can make the Red Bull win throughout 09-10(when SV current contract is up) SV would be stupid to leave RB at the ripe old age of 23!
He should re up at RB then if in the next 4 years can win a title or 2 he will have the SAME clout as his DNA mistro to use in negoshiating a Ferrari contract, and that also means it give Ferraeri 4 more years to sink into permanent back marker status which in turn makes SV more money.

Now the bad news
Future King Jense and the Brawn GP F1 Team is going to win the 09,10, and possibly the 11 WDC/WCC so in my opinion SV will replace a retiring 3 time WDC and KING JB.
Last thing Tifosi.. Sorry about your Damn Luck, but I have indured 9 years of suffering, so now rethinking it all, I am EXTREMELY happy about your Luck!!

Do you think Ferrari would mind one of their cars being named "Kate's Dirty Sister" or similar?

Don't think a new driver will cut it.

Ferrari was done when Todt and Brawn left the helm. It wasn't mentioned in the press but there was an exodus of talented mechanics and CAD designers when Brawn left.

And why would Vettel want to move to Ferrari, he is in a car backed by limitless money and Adrian Newey who is just starting to show his colours.

As for KR, LDM almost has a love affair with this guy. He was the one who wanted MS out so that KR could come in.

Well, Dietrich Mateschitz has been showing signs recently that his love affair with F1 is waning somewhat. Toro Rosso is for sale and much of his PR activity has been toned down such as the demise of the popular Red Bulletin paddock freesheet.
Just rumours now...also remember Ferrari have won 2 WCCs championships since RB, JT and MS left.

I'd be ok with RK - more than KR right now...

Depends on whether DM wants out of F1 or not...

Let's see if they can win one first before you give them the next decade!

More on FA going to Ferrari in '10...

Gerhard Berger is adamant that Fernando Alonso will head to Ferrari at the end of 2009.

The former Toro Rosso co-owner said he "negotiated intensively" with the 27-year-old Spaniard last year, when he needed to replace the Red Bull-bound Sebastian Vettel.

"Now I can say it: he was interested, but made it clearly understood that he saw 2009 only as a transitional year, because he already knew what he would be doing in 2010," Berger said in an interview with Germany's Sport Bild.

"Surely it's Ferrari," the Austrian winner of ten grands prix added.
