ferrari needs a chassie change not drivers.
True, but this is the problem - drivers need to give the engineers feedback to improve the chassis - KR is not good at this...

His feedback is vague and not on point!

^ I hear the Ferrari engineers were scratching their heads when KR's feed back was a single line - "Needs less tonic."

From the surface (since I don't know these guys personally), KR looks like how JV was after winning the title and then not so motivated when the cars stopped being competitive... the only difference was that JV got bald and chubby pretty dang soon after that... well, he was older already by the time he moved to F1, right?

At any rate, it really looks like KR's heart ain't in it fully already...

Just rumours now...also remember Ferrari have won 2 WCCs championships since RB, JT and MS left.
Yes, they won two WCC after the cream left. But they were still riding the coat tails of the development done under RB, JT and MS.

As soon as there were major regulatory changes, guess what?

Ok then explain 2005 and Ferrari's performance with RB, JT and MS with the regulatory changes.

Also explain how a team lead by an Italian, FB, won the title in the same year and the following year...

I love the people who can point fingers at drivers when the team sucks.

Look, the teams that were fighting for the championship last year are at a disadvantage this year. They've got about half the development time that teams like Hond... er... Brawn do. It looks like McLaren is starting to gain some back, I'm sure Ferrari will make some strides again when they get back to Europe.

This is the problem with drastic rule changes instead of evolutionary changes to the regulations. The teams who are fighting to the end for one years championship are cursed the following year because they forced to spend their time/money on the old car, while other teams are already developing the new one.

The problem with Ferrari isn't Kimi or Massa.... It's Ferrari. The F60 isn't a good car. The loss of Todt and Brawn has hurt the team as well. If one driver on a team is doing great and the other is a backmarker, then you have a driver problem. If both drivers are on the same (schitty) level, then the problem is with the equipment, not the driver. Obviously both drivers are extracting the maximum from the car.

As far as SV replacing the Kimster.... He's the only driver I'd like to see take that seat. I've been saying that for a long time now. I hate this latest trend of people jumping on the SV bandwagon though. He's been brilliant for a while. As far as his potential Ferrari seat... remember his close relationship with the great chin (potentially SV's clone daddy). I'd be surprised if he hasn't already talked with Ferrari.

Ferrari is arguably the greatest team in the history of F1. Don't let a bad year fool you. They'll return to form. Remember when RB left Ferrari for Honda. Ferrari had a great run and Honda was horrid??? It seems people forget about that. Even if Vettel moves to Ferrari in the middle of a bad run, I still think it will be the right move for him.

(please God... Let Vettel get a Ferrari seat)

Hey Tifosi,
Do NOT forget that Kubica has lived in Italy most of his life, SPEAKS Italian, and is Damn fast.
There was talk last year about RK being in Red(vomit) in the future, and his contract with BMW is up at end of 09.
As far as SV goes, I am still not convinced he is a DNA cloan of the retired Feuher Heir MS.
If he is in fact a DNA cloan, do you think Dieter would let the blood leave Germany south east(Austria)??
If Newey can make the Red Bull win throughout 09-10(when SV current contract is up) SV would be stupid to leave RB at the ripe old age of 23!
He should re up at RB then if in the next 4 years can win a title or 2 he will have the SAME clout as his DNA mistro to use in negoshiating a Ferrari contract, and that also means it give Ferraeri 4 more years to sink into permanent back marker status which in turn makes SV more money.

Now the bad news
Future King Jense and the Brawn GP F1 Team is going to win the 09,10, and possibly the 11 WDC/WCC so in my opinion SV will replace a retiring 3 time WDC and KING JB.
Last thing Tifosi.. Sorry about your Damn Luck, but I have indured 9 years of suffering, so now rethinking it all, I am EXTREMELY happy about your Luck!!
